Step inside pod DC to find a warm, inviting space where people congregate, socialize, work or wind down. Step outside to the Penn Quarter neighborhood where museums like the National Gallery of Art and National Portrait Gallery keep company with dozens of fun eateries from local chefs. Just down the street there’s the high-end shops of City Center DC and just around the corner is the District’s Verizon Center, home to the Washington Capitals, Washington Wizards and major pop concerts. Top it off with the numerous theater options showing major and independent films, it’s no surprise there’s energy here from early until late.
Located on the main floor, Crimson Diner is a warm, inviting space where people are welcome to congregate, socialize, work or wind down. Crimson serves southern comfort food and is open morning until late night. Crimson Diner is anchored by a craft roaster, offering freshly brewed coffee, southern biscuits and pastries. (Opening June 2017)
The Verandah, located on the rooftop, serves as the focal point for social conversation and where guests come to unwind and bask in the brilliance of a sunset. The Verandah features a large indoor/outdoor porch with hanging gardens that suspend from beaded ceilings. The rooftop will serve local wines and craft beers with light snacks, 7 nights a week. (Opening June 2017)
